A long time ago, a young man named Halim lived in the city of Baghdad. Halim’s life was very simple, even after working hard all day, all he had was free time. One day an old man told him the story of a magic lamp and told him that this lamp was hidden in a special cave.
Halim set out in search of the magic lamp. After many days of struggle, he reached a special cave. As soon as he entered the cave, he found the lamp. As soon as Halim rubbed the lamp, a cloud of smoke came out and a genie appeared. The genie offered Halim to fulfill three wishes.
Halim acted wisely and in his first wish he asked for prosperity for himself. In his second wish he asked for relief from drought and a new source of water for the good of his city. In his last wish he wished that the magic lamp be put back in the same cave so that no greedy person could misuse it.
The jinn fulfilled all the wishes of Halim and Halim, as per his promise, left the magic lamp in the cave. The news of his feat spread throughout Baghdad and his name became immortal.
